  i remember when i use to give a number of public talks.

  i had a binder with every public talk listed by number in it.

  i don't have it anymore.. when i did the fade in 2002 after 33 years a slave since 1969. i destroyed all my watchtower materials and i had a lot.

  When I did the fade in 2002 after 33 years a slave since 1969. I destroyed all my watchtower materials and I had a lot. I wish I had kept them.

  My question now is,how many of those talks are now obsolete? I can't remember all of the titles at this time. However, with all the changes they have made I wonder if any former elders on here still have their outlines of the Sunday Public Talks and know whether or not some of the talks are no longer being used.

  I would guess that there have been many changes over the years since I faded with my family back in 2002. Blueblades

  the bodily resurrection of the lord jesus is pivotal for the christian faith, yet the jehovah's witnesses do not believe that the lord jesus christ rose again in a body.

  the watchtower have taught their followers that the lord jesus christ rose again as a spirit creature, and that his body was disposed, disintegrated and dissolved by god the father.

  in this video, i explain the differences to what the jehovah's witnesses teach and what god's word teaches, showing without any dispute that the watchtower organisation is false, and that we can always rely on god's word.

  What is the biggest problem with the JWS religion or the Watchtower Corporation from a sociological and theological perspective ?

  many have spent years associated with jws religion and having eventually left it for numerous reasons but if you were to directly pinpoint a source of the problem with this religious organization what would it be ?.

  in my personal viewpoint it would have be the core operation of literature proliferation and other products associated with the wts.

  corporation.. once you think about it everything is focused around the operation of the wts publishing house, its distribution and circulation of its published goods.

  They have committed MURDER with the Blood Doctrine. Remember the awake issue that had on the cover all the children that died because their parents refused to give them a blood transfusion.

  This is still ongoing,and yet we don't hear about this any more,because the focus has shifted from the blood issue to the living child abuse issue that has been a living death sentence for these innocent children also. There is much more besides the real estate issue too.

  None of this has anything to do with God at all.That's it for now.

  Concerning the new book Ezekiel and 1914,1919. Captives of a Concept by Don Cameron ends with this thought..."I have learned that no matter what is said or how it is said, it will not be able to help those who are not ready to meet up with reality."

  My point is that the Ezekiel book is not reality, and the writers of it, and the Governing Body will never be able to meet up with reality.

  What happened to the "New World Order"?

  so as a child and youth growing up as a witness, (i'm 43 now) we often heard the expression "new world order".. the society just doesnt use that expression anymore.

  so what was the reasoning behind them amending that expression?.

  i was commenting on another thread about how local kh attendance is down.

  memorial attendance was also way down and the circuit assembly had hundreds less people than what is typical.

  my jw family has even mentioned it.

  What does the current yearbook show? Can we accept those numbers?I know the topic is about local areas,however,can the year book help us with the break down as to the growth or decline of the watchtower society?

  I don't care one bit about the numbers game. I'm just asking if it helps with this topic. Can we make solid conclusions about growth or decline from the year book?

  I served for 33 years in many ways. Left in 2002.A lot has happened since 1969 to 2002 when I joined this site as Blueblades.
